First introduced in 2004, the Challenger 300 is a long-range business jet, manufactured by Bombardier Aerospace. The initial Challenger 300 was launched as the Continental, at the 1999 Paris Air Show. The clean-sheet design comprised of supercritical wings with a fixed leading edge, and a fuselage and wings consisting of semi-monocoque aluminium structures. The Challenger 350 is the second, improved variant, featuring a more luxurious interior and a roomier cabin for better passenger experience. The uprated Honeywell HTF7350 engines were optimised to offer 7.3% more thrust during take-off, with the aircraft entering service in 2014.
