The Embraer E-Jet E2 family are narrow-body jet airliners developed by Embraer, developed as a successor to the Embraer E-Jet family. In most aspects, the E-Jet E2 series showed a resemblance to the first generation of E-Jets, however, modern avionics and fly-by-wire controls were installed in the new aircraft in order to improve performance. The first model in the series was the E190-E2, which had entered service in 2018. The Embraer E175-E2 was recently developed, based on the predecessing E175 with a lengthened fuselage to facilitate for an additional row of seats. The E175-E2 was scheduled to enter service in 2020, however, had encountered some delaying factors which pushed the launch date back to 2021.
