Boeing 737-BBJ

The Boeing Business Jet (BBJ for short) series are number of variants derived from pre-existing Boeing jet airliners, offered as a luxurious business jet for the corporate aviation market since 1999. Many of the BBJ models are based on the 737 series, with new cabin configuration and other minor structural modifications. For the initial BBJ1 model Boeing used the 737-700 and 737-800 to develop the new design, using the latter’s wing and landing gear, while introducing facilities such as a bedroom, shower room, living room and a diner/conference room in the re-envisioned cabin. The BBJ1 aircraft were a strong competitor to a variety of business jets, and had exceeded the initially predicted 50 models in sales, with 150 sold by the end of 2019.
