Piper M700

Piper Aircraft has unveiled the M700 Fury, a faster and longer-range version of the renowned PA-46 aircraft. Powered by a 700-shaft-horsepower Pratt & Whitney PT6A-52 engine, the M700 boasts a ceiling of 30,000 feet, a maximum cruise speed of 300 knots, and a range exceeding 1,400 nautical miles at regular cruise power.

John Calcagno, President and CEO of Piper, described the M700 Fury as a highly efficient cross-country aircraft that offers unmatched performance and economic benefits.

The M700 builds upon the success of its predecessor, the M600, which received FAA certification in 2016. It inherits popular features such as the Garmin G3000 avionics, autothrottle, and HALO Autoland system.

With its increased horsepower, the M700 offers a 30% improvement in rate of climb over the M600, a 27-knot increase in maximum true airspeed (from 274 knots to 301 KTAS), and an extended range of 368 nautical miles.

Since its debut in 1983, the PA-46 series has evolved into a versatile range of piston, pressurized, and turboprop variants. The Piper M700 marks a significant milestone as the 1,000th PA-46 aircraft produced by Piper.
