This July the Red Box Team have been very busy at a few different shows. Many of them, we are old hands at and love seeing familiar faces as well as new. However, this year, with the arrival of our new marine kits, we decided to have a small stand at Seawork 2018.
From the 3rd to 5th July, Red Box Exhibited their tools and tool kits at this marine show, at the docks in Southampton. With 471 Exhibitors and thousands of visitors throughout the three day show, it is a great place for business to connect with each other and individual clients.
Red Box had a good show, with lots of interest shown in our BAHCO tools and tool kits. Not only was this a first time for Red Box at the show, it is a first time for us coming into the marine industry. We have recently released a small range of marine based tool kits:
All five of these kits are based around the industry and are designed with help from clients in the industry. We sat down with experts in the field and discussed what they need in a kit, and what is essential and what is not always necessary. These kits were the end product of these discussions and all come with foam layers included.
Red Box enjoyed exhibiting at Seawork International and getting into a new industry. The show consisted of stands, big and small, inside and outside. As well as businesses showcasing their vessels in the dock, therefore creating an outside space to exhibit right on the water. We enjoyed getting to know new faces, as well as taking a look at the other stands and finding out about business in the marine industry.
This year was the 21st edition of the show, it was opened by the UK Maritime Minister, Nusrat Ghani. She opened with a speech focusing on the importance of the sector, seafarer training and women in maritime.
Red Box enjoyed their first visit and look forward to more.
